报告人简介

Prior to joining JSNN faculty, UNC Greensboro in 2013, he had worked in an industrial research corporation in Huntsville, AL, since 2006, and led as a Principal Scientist for a number of BAA, SBIR/STTR Phase I, II, and III US government projects primarily through NIH, NASA and DOD research grants. Dr. Wei completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA, followed with one year postdoctoral fellowship at the same university. Dr. Wei obtained his M.S. and B.S. decrees in Applied Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China.

研究兴趣

Advanced functional materials, nanostructures and nanomaterials, fundamental studies in electron transfer, nanoplasmonics, SERS, and applications in biosensors & bioelectronics, biomedicine, energy and environments by employing methods of materials synthesis, nanofabrication, electrochemistry, microscopy and spectroscopy, modeling and simulation. His research is currently sponsored by US NSF and NIH.
